Hi I have just got a blueant x3 and I have paired with my Tytn. I must say the instructions were great and it was pretty easy. After reading a bunch of posts on bt headsets I have a couple questions.

1. What does A2DP do? does this just improve the sound, or I am I missing something?
2. I realize I can use the headset for talking on the phone however I believe I can use it for Skype as well, do I need to have any special settings/hack enabled or should it work simply if it is paired?
3. Can I listen to MP3's via the X3 headset?

thanks for the help in advanced,

Mike

I will answer a few of your questions...the other may be better for a fourm for the headset it self.

A2DP--(stands for something like audio X 2 distribution protocol or something) but basically means its supports stereo bluetooh output.

It appears the X3 headset is not stereo head phones...so i think you would have to use the hack that is floating in the hermes forums to support mono audio distribution. It has been at the top of the pages the last few days so just dig down a bit.

As for skype I am not sure...I don't use it..
