If anybody has checked the notification queue you will have noticed that quickgps puts a notification in the queue after every soft reset. This is identified as a time change - so a notification is added. This leads to numerous duplicate notifications developing and after a time an increase of the size of the notification queue and usually errors following. Use check notifications - attached (unzip and install via activesync on pc) or your own software to see what i mean.

I managed a fix for this using dotfred's great task manager http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=280104

Goto services - quickgps app service - set manual and the problem goes.

Taskmanager states this is for an icon on the today screen - but on my device there is no icon - how about your device guys?

This does not affect the working of quickgps on my device and the duplicate notification error does not occur.

I have been using Check Notifications on Wm5 for ages without a problem - if you feel uncomfortable use dotfred's program which also has a notification queue checker or memaid or sktools.
I own 3 of these programs and have no issues with any of them. I use CN because its the fastest!

Even the other application "NotificationsClearFix" (from memory ;) ) worked with my first prophet.

By the way Meschule, what is the equivalent of 247MHz "true speed" using Batterystatus by Ikarius?

Hi, that is the equivalent as batterystatus does show the true speed. Considering turning the overclocking down on the artemis as aku 3.0 rom on this device is much more responsive. Boot time is very quick.

Mine is scaling between 143MHz and 286MHz, the poor thing :(
