keyboard control panel WM5...

hi there, does anyone here has the keyboard control panel on wm5 by helmi? coz i got this lag on my keyboard.. when i type "crack" i get this instead "craaaaaaaack".. its not the keyboard coz i know its working properly...

does anyone here knows how to change the type rate to slowest on the registry? hanks for the replies... :) please help..

LOL, this is one of the oldest WM5 issues, it's mostly been fixed by the "paging pool" discovery, but it still happens now and then. It used to be a lot worse!

The repeats setting can be found under Settings/System/Keyboard.

hey there, thanks for replying.. but i cant seem to find the keyboard settings... its not on the control panel.. im using helmi's 3.5 rom btw.. :)

and about the roms, whats the most stable rom here? is it hekmi's, xplode, or logout's rom... :) just asking coz i just got my BA, im on hima but i upgraded and im learning new stuffs. :)

oih and i read all the wiki's and im not new to flashing either, im just asking in terms of your own experience.. :) thanks

Bummer, I've got the xplode rom and that's where the setting is. It's confusing as there are two different keyboard controls; one for the on-screen keyboard and a specific BA one for the slide-out keyboard. The latter is the one you want and it should be on the System tab.

I've no idea which ROM is the best, I have xplodes as it was out first and I'm waiting for the next round of updates before I try anything new.

hi there, thanks for replying... so in xpldes rom, you have the keyboard ocntrol panel... can you extract it to cab and maybe post it here? thanks...

edited: it seems that i found some registry setting for the keyboard and here it is [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Keybd].. i see the repeat settings here to 21.. so i changed it to 2... :) some trial and error here.. :)
