media player stops when press on/off

Media player stops when I press on/off button (power safe mode)
But fm radio doesnt.
Is it any reg hack to let media player play songs even in power safe mode?

When I try to choose a button nothing happends, only if I turn around the "wheel" it choose "down".

I have htc p3300

Assign a button to it. If you choose 'down', then when you are playing your music, just press this 'down' to swithc off the screen. Other buttons are still functional though.
