Sorry, maybe I am just stupid ... but ... there is no Wifi Hardware, or its just disabled? :confused:

After hoping and researching for a long time, a lot of people agreed, that the WiFi Hardware is not included in the device, at least noone managed to switch something on and get WiFi to work. They tried all WWE ROMs that come with WiFi Enabled, so it is not a Software thing

The MDA III is the HTC Hero, which does not come with Wi-Fi hardware.

actually the dutch mda compact III does have wifi :D
the sticker behind the battery also states that it is a Artemis.

The subject is however the MDA Compact III... that is not the same as the MDA III. My MDA Compact III does have wifi because I live in the Netherlands. Other countries may differ.

One colleague on polish forum pdaclub.pl told to HTC.
HTC said, thad they are making only one hardware for all recipients.

I think also that is the same hardware only they Model no. is different my is ARTE110 from tmobileuk if we install from ARTE100 will be wifi working.
