Letter recognizer

Hi all
I have a norwegian Trinity version:
Rom ver: 1.16.409.2
Rom date: 10/24/06
Radio ver: 1.22.01.11
Protocol ver: 32.54.7020.01H
ExtRom ver: 1.16.409.101

I'm happy with the phone except for one thing. I've had ppc for years and love the letter recognizer input. On the norwegian rom it is gone. Do you gurus know of way to install it? The only input module is scandinavian keyboard. And yes I've tried the t9, but nothing is faster than letter recognizer.

It's very easy. Only execute this cab file in Trinity. On Portuguese ROM works very well and i think others to.

Thanks Rabreu, but it didn't work. This program is an enabler for hidden input methods, but I think the hidden ones actually are gone in the norwegian ROM.
Anyone who know what the files for the letter recognizer are called?

Well, it doesn't work:(

It installed ok, and it shows up in the keyboard selection box to switch between Keyboard, Block Recognizer and Letter Recognizer. But when I select it it doesn't switch to the selected input mode.
Also, I can't access the options of the Block Recognizer and Letter Recognizer, the Keyboard options however work fine.

I think it might be a language issue, seeing as how the descriptions in the options menu are in english for the Block Recognizer and Letter Recognizer, but in dutch for the keyboard options.

Maybe somebody else has some ideas?

In you case, you should check the forums of Pocketinfo.nl, since what you need is a letter recognizer in dutch (apparently it's language-specific).

That's what i found over there, and it works perfect for me (apart from the slow switching of SIP method).

For the Norwegian version, i'm afraid i can't help... Maybe you can still download this, and poke around the regisrty a bit to see what it does... :cool:
