I have gotten great help in the past from this forum.

Now let's see:

Anybody can help with a JAMin that does not connect over USB?
I can't seem to find any clue!

Many Cables :checked
Latest ROM etc :checked
Latest ActiveSync :checked
Settings :checked
etc etc etc..

Any help will be greatly appreciated

PS. Keep this forum alive as long as possible.....there are many "PROPHETS"out there!

Peace...

Yes I have tried that plus another ...usbkiller...not sure....nothing!
Tried setting Zone Alarm with permissions etc......nothing!
Tried re-starting the DHCP service, re-booting, re-connecting.....nothing!
Tried installing re-installing AS4.1, 4.2, etc....nothing!

Thanks for the support anyway...

I have the same problem, and I was never able to resolve it.

Basically, the first time I connect it to my pc through USB and synch the device, it creates the partnership and works. The second time onwards nothing, not even file access to the files on the prophet. Bluetooth connection works perfectly, and USB with another pc works too.

If I delete the partnership, and connect it again, it again creates the partnership and works the first time. The second time onwards nothing again.

I've tried various versions of AS, hard-resetting, changing cables, uninstalling all network and antivirus utilities (windows xp firewall is disabled anyway), most things except actually formatting my pc (that would be a nightmare!).

My main problem is not synching, as I prefer to do that over BT anyway, but upgrading the ROM is quite a hassle, which is one of the reasons I haven't updated to one of the new AKU's yet.

My dream is that someone will actually come up with a solution for this! :)
