pof: probably question for you.

Is it possible to revert Super-CID? To have device with "normal" CID. Is this would require a lot of work?

I am thinking about program with list of CIDs to lock.

In example, to recover the warranty.

Next version of the Hermes unlocker will allow you to select if you want to SIM-unlock, CID-unlock or both. I'm working on it, so please be patient :)

Going back to your original CID once you've already set it SuperCID can't be done easily, but if you _really_, _really_, _really_, need it because of warranty reasons, PM me and hopefully we can do anything.

Pof, you are to good for this world! ;) But i dont need it now, I like to have a apps that re-CID my device before I need to claim warranty.

I dont like the idea that i'm not sure if I can re-CID my device after that I have flashed my vario...

Sorry for the bad english!

I do belive that somehow HTC with upgrade to AKU3.x (I hope it is AKU3.x) will find way of locking SuperCID.

And with all information we have got - change of SPL and IPL to prevent Radio upgrade - I belive that it might be problem for all SuperCIDs.

Just want to be on safe side when it will happen.

pof: just think about way of restoring CID - whit is what my guts are saying.

All preproduction devices are SuperCID, and HTC will not lock it, it is the way they use to give the operators / manufacturers the ability to do some stuff we 'users' can not do :)

Don't worry about this... they can prevent the radio ROM or the bootloader to be flashed or downgraded, as they did with bootloader 1.09 and softbank's 1.14 radio and most probably will do it with newer radios with radio bootloader V1.008,... but SuperCID will stay there, they will not change your CID with a ROM upgrade ;)

i would just hard reset it and send it back.. how would they know??? plus ur not sayin its a software issue.. so i would think they wont be lookin' for that.. im pretty sure they would just make sure it wasnt in water.. and..it didnt look like a dog chewed it.. then they will probably load up software on it and exchange it to someone else... i would just do it.. but thats me
