Hello all... Ok, as I stated in the subject of this thread, my vibration isn't working on my MDA. I don't know what is going on. I've tried ticking all the checkboxes that say vibrate... moved the slider down to vibrate only... etc.. I don't know exactly how to troubleshoot it properly as I don't really know the full capabilities of this phone. But as far as I know, if you put the phone on vibrate, it should vibrate when someone calls right? Not the case with my phone.

Please could someone help me figure out what is going on... maybe it's a hardware issue that is unfixable... but maybe, just maybe.... it's some sort of registry thing where I can get it to vibrate... I don't like missing calls due to my ringtone being drowned out by street noise (thank God for voicemail and call history)... Thank you again, hope someone has a solution for me :)

I had the same problem happen to my 8125. The phone would vibrate when I held the comm button to change it from ringer to vibrate. But, when I recieved a phone call or text message, the phone would not vibrate. I knew the vibrate was working because it did vibrate when I changed the ringer. I had to do a hard reset to fix the problem though, so that may be your only solution.

Same here. Can anyone tell me which part or component on the O2 XDA II mini is responsible for viration?

In my case, the vibrate is working, but it's lost all it's power....feels like the motor is giving up. Is this normal? Does a vibrate motor on a phone have such a limited lifespan?

If it's used a lot then it's feasible for such a tiny vibrate component to burn out after a while maybe after a year or more.
