If the T-mobile/imate/qtek version of the HTC Wizard is the more popular of the 2 types (100 and 200) then why doesn't anyone make a silicon case for the MDA instead of the 8125? Any ideas?

The hell if I know, but I know i'd buy one in a heartbeat... I already dropped my Wiz on the third day I had it, I don't wanna do that again, and if I do, i want it to stay in one peice this time.

I'd rather suggest to buy an hardcase, it makes the phone a little bigger it's true but it has the advantage that absorbes the hits more than a silicon one and protects your screen, plus if you have a BT headset you don't have to handle the phone and can comfortably take it in your bag or jacket whic is what I do.
I bought one on ebay for few pounds and I'm quite happy with it.
Of course depends on the usage you make of your handset, if you particularly handle it than would be a bit un-functional , nevertheless the silicon one will give you the same issue.

You are incorrect. A hard case will transfer the momentum to the phone more so then that of a silicone case; it absorbs less energy. It is the same idea with low profile tires.

Okay, turns out I was wrong. They do make a silicon case for the WIZA200 (MDA), it's just hidden REALLY well. It looks rather nice. Can't wait to try it.
Thanks to Aviv for a little help in the right direction...
