Screen Brightness effect batt how much?

hey all...i usually keep my screen brightness second to the lowest, but i was just messing around and kept it to default(inthe middle) for a bit, and i like it likethat.. how baddly does it effect the batt life? where do you guys/gals have it set at?

ive been using middle setting for battery from the start... and if i use pda just for stuff i need it goes working for 2 days on full battery, thats more then enough, more brightness then middle is for me 2 much, so i dont want more, but less i dont really care since 2 days in middle is more than i hoped for :)

but probably u save about 10-20% on the battery (if u use it full time , so instead of 4 hours on middle turnned on, it will last like 4.5 hours)... but if u dont use that much of screen that wont be so much difference, so like 48 hours and you will get like 50 hours....

Mine is always on the lowest setting and it lasts a good two days of heavy PDA use for 5-8 hours plus music while traveling.

I think the backlight is an LED array which is much better than a fluorecent tube used for most TFT displays. Would be better if it was OLED but I don't think there are any touch layer OLEDs available at the moment.
