playing mp4 files from iTunes

Hi all

Trying to play mp4 videos which I got from iTunes. Its a trailer so no copyright issues here. It opens in TCMP and plays with sound and all, after I installed som plugins, but the video skips and doesnt play in sync with the sound. Anyone tried this an succeded?

My guess is that the video size is considerably larger than the screen size. The player then has to scale everything down which sucks up cpu time. If that's the case, the answer is to scale the size of the video down to something more reasonable. How to do that is beyond the scope of this site as there are about a million ways to do it. Google can probably be your friend there.
