hi there

i am using imate jamin da problem with my cell is

i upgraded my rom to qtek 2.20000 it was working absolutely fine with 8 icons in my comm manager then i upgraded to RUU-Prophet-G4-AKU2.2-2.20-2.47.21-Jester-b1 and it has severely damaged my cell as my phone my phone hangs white booting it shows me the colour screen with

IPL 1.00 and SPL 2.20.0001

on the Screen

OS and GSM is not displayed

I tried rom update several times but its not working

i tried to update my rom through boot loader mode but again failed

i even tried to format my phone but it gives FAT16 format failed

I even tried to upgrade to jesters RUU-Prophet-G4-AKU2.2-2.20-2.47.21-Jester-r1 but still its not working and givng same problem

now i dont understand what to do


guys please give me Advice and solution for this g3 g4 Problem

i even tried sending my phone to service center but stupid people dont know how to solve it and they returned me back

You have bricked your phone... You just can't install a G4 rom on a G3 phone... Different chipsets are the cause of the problem... Sorry

You'll have to wait to see if Jesterz manages to produce a goldcard...

BTW a goldcard it's basicly a mem card with a rom in it that autoinstalls itself thus no need for the usb connection... This fits your case cause you don't have an active usb conection because of the driver/chip conflict...

I have the same problem i tried to flash my g3 with jesters RUU-Prophet-G4-AKU2.2-2.20-2.47.21-Jester-r1 by mistake and it was ok until the end of process when i finich it with congratulations and bla bla my device stills in the bootloader mode all the time. I can now connect and start to flash but when it comes to 80% of the process it stops with error 360 wrong command. Pleas is there any help for some kind of downgrade flash or so because it can only get boootloader but never start with software. When I try with jesters RUU-Prophet-g3-AKU2.2-2.20-2.47.21-Jester-r1 the whole process finish ok but the phone stills in bootloader. The same thing is also with RUU-Prophet-g4-AKU2.2-2.20-2.47.21-Jester-r1 I can not execute step2

that's why you should read the "sticky" first before you do it.
I have a Dopod 818Pro from a friend of mine but in Chinese ROM, so I have to read a whole nite the sticky and found out what is my Dopod version, finally I found it is G3, so I did all the steps, from unlocked the CID till upgrade to Jester latest ROM for G3 and skip the G4.

Yes i realy know that it was my fault and my big mistake so i vould not do it again but now i need help because it stills in bootloader i i can even start flashing the device that gives me hope that some kind of recovery is maybe possible.

Yes i also commited this mistake its my fault but i really need help my device still enters into bootloader mode.

how do you mean it is over. Do you think that could not repair it. Is it possible with sd card or jesters gold card and how. Help me please if somebody knows

jesterz's gold card isn't working yet, and for now it's only for G3...

My hardware is G3 but flashed by mistake with G4 and now is in bootloader mode so i can start flashing but i do not know with what and how. Could you please explain me how and where can i find and use goldcard for g3 if possible Thanks

have u tried holding the camera button while softreset and then flash rom again

Yes sure i tried to flash rom from jesters for g3 which is for my device instead jesterz g4 what i used by mistake and it passed ok but when i restart it stills in bootloader mode only, so i could flash but do not know which firmware should i use

i've the same symptomes as mjankovic and aarif_ziaee, (bricked my phone)

but the only things i think i've forgot, is to cid unlock my device before doing the step 2

i have a question.

i have the rom PDAMobiz_Prophet_WM5AKU3.3_v3301
(witch is not an auto installable tile, it's a folder containing exe, dll, bat and nb file)

is it possible to install it by using teraterm pro or mtty? (connected and install bats and cabs by thoses software)

ps : i'm sorry for my bad english, i'm french not going to my languages faculty since i'have bricked my phone. need to fix it soon ! :-p
