View Full Version : Can you recommend essential software to have?

Hi

I'm new to the xda, but have a fairly soild grasp of PCs and Pocket PCs. I just wanted to know if someone can tell recommend any software/upgrades/ROM upates that I need to have or are essential. Or if anyone knows of any handy programs to install. Catch my drift?

Everyone have it's own must have list, you have to find it out by yourself!


But I will give you a little help with my own list to find what you want! :)

Resco Explorer 2005, Resco Picture Viewer, SKTools, PocketHackMaster 2006, phonelarm, NetFront 3.3, WisBar Advance 2, Spb PocketPlus, Spb GPRS Monitor, Spb Diary, Spb Finance, Spb Weather, CardExport II, TCPMP, NET CF SP1 + NETCF 2 SP1, VisualBasic 2003 Runtime, Softmaker Office 2006, iComment, PhatPad, PhatNotes, FinPocket 2, Pocket Notepad, pRSSReader!


And a few other little apps like WIMR (Where is my RAM) or CPUID!

CoolCamera - Great application for camera
NoviiRemote - Infrared application
SPB Imageer - Just like AcdSee
Tweaks2k2.NET - Tweaks!
Links - Golf Games!
Virtual Pool Mobile - Pool Games! Im sure you'll like it!

what about games?

some games like worm world party is a must in my phone

anyone can recommend other 3D games or cool ones?

I really like Age of Empires, PocketQuake, Transport Tycoon Deluxe Mobile, Girders and Spb AirIslands! That the mostly played games on my machine! :)


Oh, don't forgett the MorphGear and PocketGBA emulators! I really like the old games fom SNES or something like that! :D

well i currently having
1. Age of Empires
2. Quake III arena
3. pocketquake
4. Rayman ultimate
5. Spawn
6. Tomb Raider
7. Strategus ( Warcraft II mod )
8. Wolfenstein 3D
9. Worms World Party
10. Pocket GBA preloaded with the sims busting out

all of them are damn entertaining
