Okay people....I got a question, I was looking on eBay for a Dual Sim adaptor, but got crazy to see what is available, are there people here that have experience with Dual Sim Adaptors?
Few things that are important for me:
- I dont mind cutting my Sim Card(s)
- I dont want a "bulb" under the batterycase, so the cutting sim Dual adaptors seem to fit my needs!
- I like the Auto TSK Menu
- I hear stories about Dual Sim Adaptors that dont use the Radio ON/OFF function to swtich Sim Cards....I LIKE THIS!
I also would like to use a Today Plugin to switch sims, or at least see the Active Sim Card, I tested Wivit Sim Status Switcher but it works buggy on WM5 (and WM6), this is because it is actually for WM2003 I think...
Who can give me some feedback here on Dual Sim Adaptors that are used with success on the Wizard and even maybe pass me some screenshots off the menu used to switch the sim cards?
And yeah....offcourse I searched and read the topics here on XDA Dev, but cannot come to a good conclusion of which Adaptor I should buy!
Here are some links of adaptors that will fit my needs (I think....) The first link seems to be the best buy (and cheapest option).

Hi Molski,
I have been using a dual sim adapter for over a year now and I never had any problems. I bought a 9th generation adapter from some chinese manufacturar through ebay and had to cut my SIMS. Cutting is b.t.w. the only way to use two SIMS without "bulbing" the batterycase.
I also bought a 12th generation adapter, and often the second time I switched the STK would hang, resulting in having to softreset.
I have no knowledge with switching without turning off and back on the radio, imho it wouldn't be possible, your phone *needs* to reregister and takein information from the new provider.
I switch using a script (mortscript) by hand and automatic when starting programs like TomTom.
Forwarding from one SIM to the other *only* when unavailable make both your cellphone number reachable at al times.
Screenshots of the menu's is kinda useless; the menus are dictated by the SIM adapter, so every brand will have its own specific menu. Mine (and most from what I have seen) simply offer three options; switch to SIM1, to SIM 2 and edit the 'names' of the two SIMS.
Cheers,
Cacti

i suggest to use the analog one (switching by turning off/on radio) as they consume less power and its as fast to switch as with the menu of the digital ones (actually faster - just one key press - if u use a today plugin as SIMName - works on WM6, I am using it - also shows the active card, you can set a name for every SIM, so it even shows the correct name and not just the provider if u use two cards of the same provider! :) )...

i am using dual sim with cutted cards and.. im quite happy but battery drains a lot faster (about 40%!) so when i need long time battery use i am using adaptor for cutted sim. to change cards i'm using batterystatus (when i tap on providers name its run stk service) and its work fine.
but now im thinking about some less battery draining idea...
sorry for my english

cool....I use BatteryStatus everyday, so this wil be perfect to enter the STK menu...hopefully tha developer can also built a change sim option in the plugin ;-)

SIMName looks like a very cool tool....gonna check it right now, although I still use only 1 sim card ;)

the only issue i have is that is sometimes doesn't show anything on the today screen - waiting for a few seconds or switching to landscape and back solves it (it's not made for WM6, not even WM5 but anyways works well enough for me)... :)
BTW, i think it is just available in german, but as there is not much to configure u won't have any problems...

maybey it's a stupid question but is it possible to run 2 sim's at the same time? cause I have a ''work sim'' and a ''private sim'' and I do not want to miss call's on both sim's and I also don't like carrying around 2 phones :P...
so is it possible??
thnx...

Hi le_cactus,
Could you post the script you're using? How do you switch automatic?
cheers,
