Hi,
I've been looking at replacement housings for my PDA as it's a bit scratched and fancy getting a black one instead of grey.
I've spotted some good looking ones on eBay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260078879244&fromMakeTrack=true
Anybody tried these?
If so, how are they?
Cheers,
Martin.

Just note: The 'case' mentioned is for Magician phones, i'm not sure if thats the same as that of Charmer.

i know they look the same so might be a good match?! only thing i know for sure though is that the front plate is made of metal on magicians and plastic on the charmer.

The Charmer and the Magician are having the same front panel, camera cover, and battery cover. BUT the middle black plastic housing that sit between the panels(as shown in the attached picture), is NOT the same(reset and microphone places exchanged):

Funnily enough, my TM MDA compact II has a metal front cover.

Same here, my Charmer has a (scratched) metal cover.
If I'm only changing the front and back panels and not the middle section do you think it's worth a shot?

I'd also like to change the housing of my mda compact ii but Im not too sure whether I'd be able to do it.
Are there any step by step instructions available? and what are the possibilities of ruining all this.. Because everytime I open something im never able to put it back together properly

so anyone else replace their charmers casing? the only problem i found is with the battery cover doesnt quite slide up all the way, leaves a tiny gap. anyone know which part of the cover needs to trimming so it goes all the way up?

You need to trim the small clips at the bottom of the cover (near the headphone socket) as they're a fraction too long.
