Disappearing Battery Strip

The battery indicator strip (the thin line going from red on the left, to yellow, to green on the right) on top of my screen keeps disappearing and I can't figure out why. I like being able to tell how much charge I have left.

The only way I can bring it back, is by doing a backup restore, but then, after a few days, or weeks, it just disappears again.

I am using Dr Puttingham's Cingular ROM (http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=62383) and a ClassicBlack theme (it doesn't matter what theme I chose, the Battery Strip is gone in all of them.)

Any ideas?

Use programm called BATTI, works like a charm, has also ALWAYS ON TOP option so its displayed everywhere... love that app :) and i assure you it does not have any memory leaks or whatsoever on WM6, was using it on clean install and no problems at all
