In registry HKLM > Security > Phone > Skin
Change Enabled from 1 to 0

hey if u want to change the welcome screen just find any image u want and edit it..

1. change the resolution to 320 x 320
2. save the file as welcomehead.96
3. save it as *.PNG file
4. then move it to your device windows/ folder
5. overwrite the existing files..

it's simple right?

note:
don't change it with crossbow welcome.cab it will copy the welcomehead.96.PNG file that cannot be REPLACED, DELETED or RENAMED.. I Re-UpgrDE My device because of this...
just try to Googling the Crossbow picture if u want the Crossbow Welcome Screen..
