Has anyone been able to configure the Herald for MMS on Rogers? I've tried about every combination of settings I can find/think of but nothing works.

Another thing I've noticed, is that "The WAP Network", "Secure WAP Network", and "The Internet" when referencing the "Connect via" option for MMS can't be configured anywhere.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to get this thing configured, if at all possible?

Rogers MMS settings are as follows

You connect through a WAP connection. You can create it in the conection manager.
The access point name is media.com
The username is media
The password is mda01

Once you have the connection created, it will appear in the list of connections allong with "The WAP Network", "Secure WAP Network", "The Internet", etc.

Select that connection you just created, and then configure the mms server settings.

Create a new server with the following settings
The gateway is 172.25.0.107
The port is 9201 (this is the default, if you don't see this don't worry)
The server address is http://mms.gprs.rogers.com

You can configure your other preferences to your liking.

This will let you send mms messages. If you have never used MMS on your rogers account before, you will not be able to recieve messages though. The reason is that rogers thinks your phone can't handel it. You need to call to set it up or just send an mms with a locked rogers phone. My sim card came with a free phone. I just swapped the sim card and sent a message and it worked (this was a few years ago, you only have to do it once).

Happy mmsing
