Network Lost

I have an Artemis ARTE110 which has just lost network. Cant connect have tried the simin another phone O2 ORBIT works fine. Device is unlocked and has been working fine just suddenly lost network anyone have any ideas?
HAve tried upgrading ROM to Dopod device is working apart from phone not connecting. HELP!!!!

I've once read a post saying that the sim doesn't have a good contact with the sim bay connectors. Try lifting a bit the sim bay connectors and cleaning it with isopropyl alcohol.

Looks like the device I bought on Ebay was either lost or stolen the IMEI has been blocked having to go back to seller and try and get refund. Sadly it showed up as a quality seller and the imei check was ok at time of purchase. The phone will not work now!!
