Hi guys, Im new on here and this is my first post. Just wanted to say that this site is amazing and that people on here seems very supportive.

Ok the thing is, is that im getting a Orange SPV M3100 on tuesday and i want to unlock it so that i can use it on the network that im with.

The problem is that HTC_Hermes_SIM_Unlock_v2a wont download from the sites FTP, i tried it using opera M$ IE and firefox, i even downloaded cute FTP to try to download it but nothing works! So my question is... is ther anyother way to download it? is it uped somewhere else? or can someone send it to my email/msn?

Its ok guys i downloaded it from my friends PC, im just wondering what is Bootloader? im getting my phone tomorrow and i want to unlock it stright away so that i can use the phone.

Ok thanks alot guys, im getting my phone tomororw, should be here by 10am :)

I hope its not that 1.06 version because i want to unlock it and put a 02 chip in there and use the internet on the phone.

Btw, i heard that there is a setting in order to use the net on 02 sims, can anyone help? im from uk btw.
Also i got this phone because my friend said that i can use the net for free on any 02 sim even on payg sims for free without topping up - is this really true?

Well I think you better ask your friend a few more questions about that. I'm on O2 UK Payg and I certainly get charged for it. I mostly use my and others wifi networks for surfing.
