Dear All,

I have resisted buying one of these as XDAs' always seemed to have such bad battery drain with BT turned on. However with the new UK laws I feel it is time to invest.

Any recomendations on compatible units are welcome.

Cheers

I've tested two different motorola BT headsets with my universal, the first one (it is the one i use normally) is a H500, very small, works fine, sounds good, voice dial works ok.
The second one is a HS801 (I even sold one to a friend who has its own universal), works ok also, better reception than my H500, longer than my H500 and moded better with our T-Mobile unis (grey ones).

About battery drain, I must admit that the universal is not the best PDA for battery lasting, but it's ok for my, 4 days with a single full charge (normal use, not too many phone calls), it's not as good as my ex-PDA (Ipaq 6340), but's fine.

I bought the cheapest "Veho" from http://www.scan.co.uk/ and it seems to work fine. Under £10 too when I bought it. At the same time, I bought the solar-charged GPS unit and that's quite happy with my XDA Exec too.

Just bought stereo bluetooth headset Sony DR-BT20NX and they are brilliant. Had an issue in the beginning that music was skipping and voice in a phone call was ok. Before had a chance to look in to it, it got fixed. Hope it stay that way.

Hi,

I am using the Jabra BT320S now for a couple of weeks and it performs well in regard. Have some stops sometimes but it is probably due to the way i use it now: MDA in vest and headset sender in vest.
Much better than the BT620S i tried once and had to bring back to the shop.
