Help!!! my XDA MINI S still stuck at splash screen!!

i have tried to downgrade with various roms but no success..every time i try,the IPL changes
but the SPL always remains the same...SPL:1.06 :confused: and i end up still stuck at the splash screen..:mad: i have tried sd backup but no success,something about me not having "the proper security level to do so",and lokiwiz cannot communicate with pda in bootloader mode to try cid unlock :eek: ,and i have tried master reset without any success..tells me format failed...so please i really need help to revive my xda,any help will be greatly appreciated..thanx:confused:
btw it is a wiza200.

im assuming u have tried a hardreset as well? have u tried installing Buttons 1.5 ROM at bootloader?

..Yes i have tried a hard reset still no success...could you please explain to me what "installing Buttons 1.5 ROM at bootloader" mean? i am a noobie in these things really..:)

sure...first tell me if u have a G3 or G4 Wizard...and is it CID unlocked? you must be CID unlocked to perform any custom ROM modifications...

It must be a G3 Wizard (not really sure)because it came in as a XDA MINI S from O2 and at the splash screen it has this info: IPL:1.05 SPL:1.06 GSM: 01.01.10 OS:1.1.9.3 after flashing with Xda_minis_LaunchRom_v154102_2. i am not sure about CID unlock but i am using a different network other than O2. it was shipped with windows mobile 5.0...:o

a G4 PDA will report an IPL and SPL similar to 2.21.0001 and a G3 PDA will report something similar to 2.21 (notice the G3 doesn't have the trailing .0001!)

go to the above link and CID unlock your device just to be on the safe side...as for going into the bootloader, u can do this by keeping the Camera button pressed, and pressing the softreset button..then u will go into a colored screen(red,green,blue,white)which will show your IPL/SPL...once u are in that screen, go ahead and connect it to your computer(via USB) and u will notice on ur device, it will show USB on the bottom...then u can proceed with the guide to CID unlock your phone...let me know how it goes!! =)

Hi i installed the buttons rom like you suggested but it still hangs at the splash screen(beer jug)with this info IPL:1.01 SPL:1.06 GSM:01.12.10 OS:1.5.4.2. activesync does not recognize the pda in "hang mode" for me to be able to try CID unlocking...so where do i go from here ? please help...:confused:

ummm i dont think its bricked, if it was, you wouldnt be able to get into the bootloader...im sure theres a solution to the problem, i just dont know it because ive never seen this type of case before, im fairly new to the MDA...i started modifying my wizard less than 2-3 months ago
