Help w/ G4 Unlocking?

After hours of searching, I cannot find a straight-up answer. The phone I am unlocking is not mine, it is my brother's 8125 which i just found out is G4. He would really like it updated to crossbow, because he saw my mda and liked it. if anyone could lend a hand with helping me unlock this, i would really appreciate it. and yes, i have seen imei check, but at the moment i'm not willing to pay for that if i dont have to. thanks in advance.\

You're kidding... right? There's a topic in G4 with "how to flash any rom into cid-locked devices". So no need to CID-unlock. If you still want it CID-unlocked. Imei-check is the only option.

thanks.. but i tried that. i did search. im not stupid.. i looked around.. tried various things.. im just asking to see if maybe someone came up with an idea but didnt post it.. im just trying to find a way to do this so that my device is bricked.

How did u manage to get Orwell WM6 on your cid locked G4 device.
I tried most of the roms but could only get Wizard Love to work so far.
I also tried the Shell tool but no luck so far.

Any input would be appreciated.

Got it finally. The latest Shell tool and different WM6 rom.
I finally have WM6 and is working fine so far !
