ROM Update from Vodafone should be available latest by early March as far as I heard today, very likely much earlier. Apparently, Palm has already cleared the ROM Update for "shipping", so maybe it takes Vodafone some time to evaluate/modify it?! Yes, HSDPA is supposed to be working now "out of the box" with the new update.

Thanx for the info but I heard that twice before:

first beginning of januari
then beginning of februari

And now Early march sound like a continuing story

The ROM upgrade just appeared on dutch vodafone blackberry site:

no idea what they updated exactly but we'll find out.

Palm have just launched the Treo 750 in Australia, it has HSPDA enabled in the ROM, maybe if someone gets that we can use the rom...?

There is a difference between "launch" and "available". ;)

Palm has launched the Treo 750 in Germany, it is already on their german website but you can't buy it yet. It should be available in german shops around March 15, I suppose it is similar for other countries too.

And yes, the unbranded Treo 750 has HSDPA enabled but I suppose that a HSDPA enabled firmware for the Vodafone version will be available as soon as the unbranded Treo is out on the market. ;)

i just got the shipping confirmation of the treo 750 (without the v), it should arrive me tomorrow or friday latest.

if one could tell me how to read the rom and make it available for you to copy it on the treo 750 v i'll be glad to help...

I have just upgraded the rom (I understand) to software version TREO750-1.12-VFU, Firmware 1.12.0a.00

Does anyone know if you can reinstall MSN mobile messenger after the ROM update as I use this a lot?
