Couple questions for P3600 users, particularily if you upgraded from a HTC Prophet.

I currently have a Prophet, but there are a few things about it I am less than impressed about.

The main thing I'm disappointed with is the quality of the audio. Both from the earpiece and rear speaker. The volume is not really adequate and the sound quality is hollow and tinny.

Can anyone comment on the sound quality of the P3600? Is it much improved?

I can tell you that the original HTC rom (no GPS) seemed to have fantastic sound quality - at least equal to my old Imate PDA2k which I thought had a very rich quality.

However, if you upgrade to one of the Dopod GPS enabled roms, as I did, expect the same old tinny sound. I was really psyched about the GPS, but the audio degradation that accompanies it is disappointing. I am holding out hope that the eventual release of a GPS enabled rom directly from HTC will combine the best of both worlds. It is a fantastic device, though! :)
