All about Dopod D600

Since there is no particular section I thought of submitting the information here.Pls feel free to add.

Apart from specs some important information
-Code name is GENE 100
-No Wi-Fi
-AKU 3.2
-Looks like use G3 chip.Boot loader mode shows IBL(no IPL)/SPL 1.01.000
-aWizard can extract Extended ROM, but no other part.It can also extract the .rgu file,which I guess is not complete cos its size is around 25kb.
-It is very much light weighted and uses the same Wizard battery.
-Hv not yet tried to back up ROM using other tools.

I am able to pair this with Sony 970 and it recognizes wireless stereo profile correctly. No problems. But while playback the sound is played back in MONO ONLY. But there is no shutterig sound etc. I installed Zoki A2DP patch on this PPC, rebooted paired again and sound from bluetoth is received in STEREO. But then starts typical A2DP problem i.e. staggering sound, lip sync problems etc. The famous registry hacks to solve this works. But what is this? Has anybody encountered the same problem? Why the PPC does not work out of box to support A2DP as advertised to support the bluetooth stereo? (Using AKU 3.2)
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

write 60 Mb and press OK

and upload this dump.bin to rapidshare

I bought Dopod D-600 10 days back. Since then I am facing network problem even then also when I am standing down to the tower of the Mobile Service Provided. Everybody using the same service got full network shown in the scren but not i am.

I unlocked the Dopod D600 and updated with the Russian ROM from Syrop.
Messed up everything no English. Cannot understand anything. Just guessing from the previous use, how to use.

As you know I need it very urgently as before installing russian ROM I did not take any backup. My fault. Only I have sync with PC so at least I get the names from whom the call is being received or to call them. Cannot do anything else only a guess work is what I am doing with my Gene100 now.

i have a dopod d600 and when a try to install the rom update, at 2% from update i get this error
"ERROR [294]: INVALID VENDER ID"
rom version on my dopod is 1.2.706.3 and ONBL 1.02.0000 SPL 1.03.0000

I split the ROM into little pieces too,then I couldnt put them together the way I wanted. Gene owners need to show their commitment by keeping the threads alive.Forum or not,how can we demand a forum if we dont maintain a couple of threads!:confused:
