Jamin flashed with Jester now in bootloader

Hi!

I flashed my Jamin with this ROm:

RUU-Prophet-G4-AKU2.2-2.20-2.47.21-Jester-r1

Now it is totally stick in bootlaoder. I tried to falsh it with other jamin roms but i get "This NBF file cannot be used for your PDA phone. please get new NBF file."

What should i do. how can i get it back to life. Please help.

How can i tell it was G3 or G4? can you please guide me. i also downloded tht noVendor ID rom. it falshes it upto 80% then it gives same NBF error. please help me.

You can tell if it's G3 or G4 by reading the wiki here: http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=prophet_g3g4_how. Basically if your IPL/SPLversion ends with .0000 then it's a G3. If it ends with .0001 it's a G4.

If you flashed a G3 device with a G4 ROM, well ... I'm afraid it's bad news because you could have bricked your phone.

What is your IPL/SPL version to start with? You need to confirm whether you have flashed the wrong ROM or not.

OK then, your device seems to have an IPL from a G3 and an SPL from a G4. This is probably because you flashed a G4 ROM on a G3. Did the ROM Update of Jester's ROM finish succesfully? If it did, can you try holding all the three buttons (Camera, Power, Comm Manager) while hitting the soft reset?

If the device comes back with a prompt to "Press the Send button ... " just hit the green telephone button and you're set to go. If it doesn't give you this prompt come back here and tell us what it's doing.

As someone told you in another thread I would suggest installing the latest ROM from imate, i.e. this one ftp://xda:xda@ftp.xda-developers.com/Prophet/Shipped_Complete_Updates/I-mate/JAMin_WWE_213923_2139123_022021_ship.zip. Alternatively you can download it from www.clubimate.com (you need to register first).
