Can that N560 ROMS of Newplow be used on a N520?
Is there any ROM of WM6, with integrated SDHC and Wifi Working in order to make IGO8 to work properly?
I am currently with N520 WM6 with the SDHC installed and IGO8 can't start.
Is there any other solution?

Thanks
Regards

I am using 038g.sdhc from newplow and igo8 is working properly. Check your ports for gps and the licensing of igo

I suppose you delete file bl_xxx_G4.nbf or bl_xxx_G3.nbf. new pda`s come with g4 flash, it will be killed with g3 update

Thats what hapened to me. When I try to mtty the .nbf file - it gives only 1 line on the pda screen and at the end of the loading gives error message that it can't write to flash. Probably I killed the bootloader. Where can I find the file to recover its bootloader from SD card? My service center asked Fujitsu for help but they refused, so I have nothing left to do but pray...

Hi,

I would like to upgrade my N560 from TomTom 6 to TomTom 7 as TomTom 6 only supports maps from 2006 or older.
Are there any experiences with the WM6 / WM6.1 roms from newplowe and versions of TomTom 7 which work or don't work ?

Thanks

Forget About 6.1 it has some bugs.TT6 working on WM6.0
Remember this thread is about rom upgrading. Not about TT.
But do some reading in the threads. It is vital to make it work.

I have successfully used TT7 on WM6.0 38g release from Newplow. I found some errors in the maximum road speeds built in to the UK maps and decided to revert to TT6. TT7 has for the first time coverage of the Isle of Man roads, so I may revert if I go there!

An update on WM6.1... Hendrixus may not be aware that Newplow has a completely new release of N560 WM6.1 which, alledgedly, does not have the bugs he mentions. I tried the earlier buggy version of Newplow's WM6.1 and because of the email bug (could not read or create emails in the Messaging app!) I reverted to his WM6.0, which is excellent. However, the new version of WM6.1 (build 62.2g) which he has been working on for months has some extra built in software and has solved the email and other less significant bugs.

Excellent, but the email bug is still there (see Newplow's Bugs page). But there are other alternatives for email, e.g. Flexmail.

Oh and I am a lot better now. those tablets work!

Hello, I'm trying to update my FSC 560n to newplowe N560.WM61.062.2g.SDHC.SQL but i think the format of this file (extension and name) is not viewed corectly by PocketLOOXN560FlashTool. What should i do? I must mention that i've upgraded my device several months ago from the original WM5 to pups 004 rom without any problems and the file format was OS_213U.nb. thanx

I am not sure what file name you are having trouble with? The file name for all versions is the same, OS_213U.nbf. It is just the contents that differ. The file you mention has the extension missing in your posting. It is .7z which is a compressed file that Winrar will unpack and give you the OS_213U.nbf file.

Hope this helps? Or have you sorted it out already?

yeah that did it. I've never worked before with that type of archive, that was the problem, they should have mentioned this small detail on neweplow website, but anyway thanx a lot, it works just fine till now on my N560!
