Hey there,

Has anyone found an in-car holder for the Trinity that meets the following criteria:

1) Charger
2) Speaker
3) Windscreen suction mount
4) (Nice to have) A snug fit rather than spring loaded

Any suggestions?

The closest I have found so far is this (http://www.gpsforless.co.uk/product_details.php?id=6221) but it doesn't have a speaker or this (http://www.superetrader.co.uk/accessories-car-kitsholdersmounts-c-72_116_122.html) but they appear to cater for just about every device except the P3600.

Any suggestions gratefully received.

Cheers.

Simple:

With charger only:

A solution I can suggest to you is (It is not the simplest):
1. Use a simple (passive) car holder
2. Add the "Y" Cable output to have both Audio and charger outputs.

Hi,

I'm thinking of getting one unit myself. Have you used it? How would you rate the product?

Hey.
If you go to www.expansys.ca , i think you will find whatever you need. btw, i think that the simple gooseneck and holder, attach it together, and it will work. Personally i have this one - http://www.expansys.ca/p.aspx?i=142060
and http://www.expansys.ca/p.aspx?i=142975. - Looks good, simple and does not really making your nice Trinity massive!
Thanx. :o)

I have used the generic car holder solution. I use a "Y" connector glued to the back of it with one slot used for charging and one slot used for an audio out adapter (which also has a built in mic). I connect the audio/mic adapter directly into my car hifi system. This way I can listen to mp3s (ogg in my case) and when a Nav voice comes on it goes over the music, when a call comes in, it stops the music and I take the call, after the call is finished the music starts again. I use Mortplayer for music. The whole thing works just like a factory installed system :D .
You can get adapters here http://shop.brando.com.hk/o2xda.php at Brando, their shipping charges are cheap. I've been buying stuff from them for years.

Hi I have it and am reasonable satisfied. There is a speaker that works and a mic. When I'm calling there is an echo for the person on tthe other side of the line (perhaps one can move the mic a bit) but apart from that it works well.

Is this possible for you to take some pictures and posted in the forum ?
