Pdaviet3 Or Pdaviet4 Which Is Better?

Which version of WM6 is better for the HTC Wizard/Cingular 8125/MDA? PDAVIET3 OR PDAVIET4? Will it run as snappy as a brand new untouched WM5 device?

I just hate the complete PDAViet editions of Crossbow!!

There is only 1 Leaked Crossbow version from Microsoft and PDAViet already maked 4 versions and every time something wasn't good.....memory leak, Faria's name in the Camera app, WMP fix not included, wrong registry values and so on...

To me it looks that they just want to act though but are releasing unfinished and not well tested Roms.

Too bad I cannot release my Crossbow edition :P

to answer your question, i think PV3 seems a bit more smoother for me...there are issues with it, but u can fix those with some tweaks...

There are a fair number of people, myself included, who have tried the various Crossbow ROMs and concluded, yourself included, that they are not ready for primetime...

But I reallyreallyreally want to move on to Crossbow! So, PLEASE, you, Faria, risidoro, the rest of the Wizard wizards, let us know if there is anything we can do to help!

I just installed it on my pda.... it's ok, but the key on the keypad are all wrong! when i try and type in y i get z and when i press z i get y... and so on... anyone know how to fix this. Or a beter rom build?

His CB is probably based on the same leaked version. He probably has done a better job at testing it. PDAViet CB's problem is they don't test it completely before releasing it. However, most of the tweaks are known already; therefore, all we need to do is do some minor fixed to make it works perfectly for us. Can't see how he can do a better job than what have already been known.

Back on topic. To the OP. Most of the "old" timers, the one who have tried the CB ROM since it was first realease such as Vilem :) will tell you that they like PDAViet ROM better than the Underground. Most of the Johnny come lately will jump on the band wagon and tell you that Underground is the best because it was released recently :rolleyes: . Well, you can always test all of the version by yourself. I have tried the Orwell, Underground, and I still come back to the PDAViet.

PDAViet 4 = PDAViet 3 without the cooked signature on the splash screen and some minor fixed.

Mr UZI man, am looking forward to your release whenever that might come. But I would say Orwells with all registry fixes is best. If it HAD t be bewtween PDAviet3 or 4, 3 is better than 4.

It is....but it is much better tested and less bugs and more integrated in the Rom itself!

yeah , i was also testing PDAviet4 and it sucks can't actually believe people are still using it , i went back to faria's version that look like WM6
I recommend not to used till T mobile release its MW6 version
