Try this ROM provided by lvsw. It fixes many of the A2DP issues....

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=294718

This thread is very confusing as lcsw initially provided a Dopod rom renamed HTC_1.24 and now has provided a second rom HTC_1.23.8. The second rom apears to be an authentic HTC leak. Ignore the first few pages of this thread as they describe the first Dopod rename.

i'm listening to full stereo A2DP while loading apps from CABs on my SDHC card. Try doing that with previous ROMS.

You need to be SuperCID to use it. Des's SPL utility I'm told will not help.

Does it solve the Missing BASS issue?

It does not resolve the missing bass while playing MP3s and using corded head phones. Sorry

There is plenty of bass using A2DP headphones and MP3s.

I Just finished listening to Pink Floyds-Another brick in the wall. All three movements and not one skip.

That's it! I'm going for a midnight drive I need to try it on my car system.:D

I never got the high pitched noise. Maybe device dependant.

My Moto DC800 still skips.
My Scosche UBR stopped skipping. Works great!

This is not a new ROM but a compilation(cooked) using the latest Dopod ROM as the base.
