I have this occasionally (increasingly) problem where either the keyboard will not work or my scroll wheel will keep on scrolling or the select will keep on selecting. has anyone else seen this? I am using the latest PTTfix and that could be the problem?

The first thing that should be done is to determine whether this is PTTFix's or the ROM's fault, versus a hardware problem. See what happens when you uninstall PTTFix, and if at all possible, what happens when you install a different ROM. If you still have that problem, then it's a hardware issue. (I apologize if you were not looking for generic troubleshooting techniques)

I'm using a similar setup, and the worst of my problems have been the screen alignment issue so many people have experienced. This started recently for me - I thought I was off the hook, even though my serial number was one of the affected ones...

@richy240 what does your SN start with and how long have you been using your Hermes before the SA problem happened? I might eventually run into the same problem... but that's definitely hardware, not software.

i have had this problem with both hermes that i have had... even without third party apps.. what i found to solve the issue is to use my thumb and hit all the keys on the dpad (i have a fat thumb :D ), center, up, down, left, right, all at once and then my keyboard starts working again..

Heh, reminds me of the Simpsons episode where Homer got "hyperobesity"... The fingers you have used to dial... are too fat. To order a special dialing wand, please mash the keypad with your hand now.
