Camera Zoom in Cingular Rom 2.06.502.3

I can not zoom camera in this rom...i was wandering if anyone else was experiencing this problem...and if there is a fix?

I'm not using this ROM, but have you checked that you're not in 2MP mode?

It will only let you zoom in lower resolutions, as zooming in 2MP mode is a digital zoom that is "making up" information that isn't there.

I'm running the new rom & can zoom......If I'm in the 1m or 2m mode you can't zoom, that's the way the camera is......If you back down the resolution to L, M, or S....... you can zoom with problem........

Try that & see.......
