Removing sppl.

Is there any way to remove the sppl and Super cid from the phone using mtty or any other means? almost like formatting it.. I am trying to flash original shipped roms but for some reason, the radio rom does not change and thinking its the sppl loaded. I have tried the wiki erase procedure http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Hermes_UpgradeProblems.

what rom did you upgrade your device to??

at present there is no way to revert your device back from SuperCID to DOPOD001, but we can flash you back to the original Dopod ROM...

SSPL is an application that just sits in the memory device when you want to upgrade/downgrade a ROM so when you reset the device after upgrading/downgrading its gone...

i flashed it with HER_DopodAsia_AUS_1.30.707.4_1.20.31.10_WWE_Ship
but my radio is still 1.35.00.11.

The update came up with no errors. For some reason the radio stack didnt change..

Thats why Im thinking if there are any entry addresses in mtty I can delete..
the super cid setting and sppl.. and any other hacks...

Should this file have been created when updating?

mal open windows explorer and goto your c:, in the root (c:\) there will be an ruu.log file...

interesting... where did you download the ROM update from??

i suggest downloading the update from the dopodasia website, copying SSPL onto your device, and re-run the update...

Im pretty sure it is from the dopod asia website.

I will download again then reflash...

Its been bricked (again) with no gsm.

And its got bootloader 1.06 and no kitl..

yeah from the log file its not getting the CID from the bootloader... check your pm
