I have read other threads here related to this, with results from "still mute" to "if I remove the stylus a certain way, it works," to soft-resetting every 45 minutes.
After 2 days I'm in the "still mute" category. The phone speaker works, and occasionally I hear the odd pop or blip from the external, but I still have no ring tones, no alarms, no music, no audible notifications at all. This is after two hard resets.
The only thing I haven't tried is updating the ROM. Do you think it's worth a shot, or is this definitely a hardware problem?
I got mine from a seller on ebay, and I've emailed him about the warranty. Assuming the worst, how much might it cost to have this fixed?
