Hi you gurus,

I was trying to upgrade the ROM but failed due to unknown reason. Now whenever I tried to reset(soft/hard) the handset, it will in Serial mode. By lock/unlock the red button below battery, I could make it alive to primitive screens to adjust cursor stuffs. Though I could restore everything with SPBackup, but any reset would make all effort gone.

Can anybody let me know the ultimate way to get ride of this "Serial" mode?

Many thanks and bow!

USE THE FOLLOWING RECOMMENDATIONS AT YOUR OWN RISK. I'M NOT 100% THIS WILL WORK (YOU MAY MAKE IT WORSE), BUT I THINK IT MAY HELP. AGAIN, USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

/b/-TarD is correct. Try reflashing your device FIRST. If you're still stuck, check out this thread:

Here's a quick summary:

-create new connection and select USB from ports

press enter to see USB prompt in mtty:

type (dont copy&paste):

it should boot normally.

If you need mtty. Just google it (or you can download it from Buzz's site after you register (free). Just go to the download section.)

Good luck
