View Full Version : How to remove XDA Live Logo from Today screen

As so many people keep asking the question how do I remove the XDA live text from the main screen , I thought I would put a quick how to page on how to do it.

If its not done in this order it may not be persistant.


Open PHM reg editor
Scroll to \HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\DeviceBeta
Change the Value to anything you want or delete the today string to have no user text display on the today screen.

Then Power down Via the power button (not the reset switch).

How do I remove the XDA live text from the main screen? I really have searched and can't seem to find the answer!

Well allthough I have been reading and posting on it since page 1 on that thread im sure some people are not trawling through the 37 pages otherwise they wouldnt keep asking ,
and swamping the thread which is for reporting only.
