How can I install new Rom WM6 Crossbow underground edition

Hi. I never do this. I have MDA Vario with WM5, my smartphone work very slow, when I turn on it, i must wait about 2 minutes ( in menu that same - slow ) I need upgrate it. What I must do? Who can give me full instruction? What I need?

Now I have:

ROM version: 1.6.2.4 PLK
ROM date: 11/15/05
Radio version: 01.12.10
Procotol version: 4.0.13.23
ExtROM version 1.6.2.105

When I turn on device i see:

IPL 1.06
SPL 1.06
GSM 01.12.10
OS 1.6.2.4

Simple answer... READ . All the stickies at the top of this forum have all your answers and many have step by step on how to do this stuff. Don't forget the Wiki also as there is tons of information in there and good pointers back to stuff in the forums. But if you don't read first, and don't understand what you are doing, you will most likely brick your phone (ie: your phone will NEVER work again and most carriers will not replace it).

Also, don't expect an upgrade to a ROM here to make things better. You may make things worse as many ROMs are beta / experimental. If you need your phone for everyday use, don't expect WM6 ROMs to just work. You need to read and understand what you are getting into, and don't expect people to just tell you how to do things (when its all documented in here).

Now, with that said, there are some EXCELLENT ROMs here that are fantastic and work really well. But its up to YOU to figure out which ones will work for you and do what you need.

Good luck, but you need to spend some serious times reading before you even attempt to do this stuff.

I won't suggest you to go for WM6. When they said WM6 is faster, it is not that it takes 5 seconds to boot up, it probably be the same 2 minutes bootup. However, your ROMs and stuff does seems to look a bit, old. I would suggest you to go to the XDA-Wiki, under official ROM section, get the link to T-Mobile and download an .EXE AKU upgrade for your phone. For that, it will be just connect, and execute the EXE on your phone. Simple and your phone should work alright then. Upgrading to any customized ROM here will only make you spend more time fixing issues and stuff, which definately takes more than the 2 minutes for your boot up. If you read any of the Underground and Most Beautiful WM6, you will see people discussing A LOT on issues.. and yes, there will be issues.

As far as i know there are only two language available for crossbow for now..
