Realy disable GSM / Telefon on Orbit

i have an question.
If i remove my sim card, the telefon the irradiation is realy disable ??

Or can i disable this function?
I put the telefon offline in the commanger.
But is it realy off so there is no irradiation?

When it is turned off by com-manager (to flight mode) it is "really off" :cool: No radiation or radio waves to toast your balls :eek: ;)

I'm not sure. Obviously you can't use the phone in an ordinary way, but I allways thought that without a SIM you are still able to call your local emergency hotline, like 911 or 112.
If you don't want radiation (flight mode), I think it is better to disable the telephone function in Comm manager.

Just a curious question. If you're not planning to use the radio of the device why didn't you just buy a normal PDA?

The orbit is one of the smallest pda of the world and on of the best to.
