that sidelock.exe runs in pda... pops up a "TRIAL " window and then I see the slidelock... works nice. and unlocks properly... but I have to search and run the sidelock.exe again..... to get it started if i want to lock.

havent ran the theme sucessfully yet... i think its going to need a Beta updated for WAD... lets see.

Yeh I tried the slide lock. Presently I have the whole theme installed. I activated the slide lock by mapping it as a shortcut from the clock, so tapping the clock locks the device...could grow annoying in time if I accidentally activate it, but it hasn't been a problem yet.

You could also make a specific button in WAD to link to the exe, but I don't use the clock/alarm preference panel much, so it seemed like a good fit for me.

The trial notification is pretty obnoxious. I'd love to know who made the program. Is someone planning on selling an iphone theme? Seems like asking for apple's lawyers to beat down your door.

I have the dialpad skin installed only, and it looks (and works) very well indeed.

I'm using it with rest of SPB Mobile shell (who missed a trick by not properly skinning the dialler) and am starting the really enjoy my prophet.

i'm trying to pluck up the courage for the a2dp hack next

Iphone lock require flash player installing btw.

It seems ok, nothing like tzywen's tho, not as smooth and if you let go of the bar it doesn't slide back, just reverts to the default location.

Doesn't seem any way of registering it either? Perhaps they'll build in a timer version as well, which would be the whole point of it anyway so it can "lock" the device.

Any suggestion with the screen lock's popup?
I've discovered a bug. If i'm in the screen lock and open the slide keyboard of my hermes, screen turns into the landscape mode and don't unlock! I can slide it do nothing.
but it doen't matter, finally we got it!! I'm more happy than yesterday

I didn't install any flash player. But it works...
I just have .NET and Netfront 3.3 installed. Maybe the Netfront supplies a flash player ?

Btw, I want to map this to a long press button with AEButtonPlus.
However, I can't get the application in the "run application" list of AEButton Plus.
How can I add it to the list ?

anyone know who made the iphonelock? I would love to have that trial version thing taken off! And, would love to beta test anytime he needs help. Would be nice to have a timer to automatically lock it after a certain period.

im a complete noob to ppcs . been working on cell phones for years now but never any of this complexity and versaitility.. can some one help me out.... when trying to install a theme like this when its divided into parts mlike dialer and slidelock or whatever.. how do i install them on my phone to get them to work as one complet theme. i installed the dialer and got that working really good. i have a tmobile mda. thanks

also... is there a way to change the theme from the fish to another image while keeping the iphone theme?

here is the re-compiled slider lock.. it doesn’t have a month + day names.. and it’s not fullscreen, you can use the top start bar when the slider is running..

what is the purpose of slide lock if u can still use the start menu and top bar?? and have you all see how much the Iphone theme and lock slider drain your battery!! My pda run out of juice after 15 hrs with device standby most of the time

must have screwed this up somehow... no wallpaper, buttons. all i see is a blue background and the black bars at the top and bottom, as well as the carbon fiber. please help. tried uninstalling wad. also tried re-downloading and syncing.

ok so i got the theme working.... but 3 things...

1: how can i configure the contacts photos i put in the contacts folder (copied to themes/desktop) to replace the blank images on the phone and actually have the phone dial the correct numbers when i click it..

2: configure things like pictures, iweb, and ipod to actually be shortcuts to like my pictures, ie, and wmp

3. Have the actual slidelock program pop up as my lock instead of a screen that just looks like the slide lock

hey people! here is the new updated slider!

it supports:
* Lock the Pocket PC keyboard inputs - NEW!
* fullscreen without taskbar
* 12 hour support (like “10:22 AM”) - FIXED
* highlighting “slide to unlock” text
* english dates (like “saturday, march 14″)
* error sound plays when tapping anywhere except slider button
* opening sound plays when slider align to right (3 second)

i’m trying to get load external image to background.. it works in flash test file but it not works after the compiled exe file..

yes. but it's a great locking style.
best that could be made by flash.
$5 is not too mch for this, believe me.

Here we have an update of the main interface and the screen lock WITH THE SOURCE CODE IN PPL!!! freeware and customizable and without 3rth party apps!

The icons are modified for avoid the legal issues and you have 2 exes compiled, the sources (in ppl) and the icons.
You can modify the shortcuts by a .ini file and you can browse the code and modify and compile if you download a free version of ppl from http://arianesoft.ca/
more info into the readme file.

hi ilion,

it seems very nice.
in fact it is faster than the previous sliders. I am not very interested in the launcher and I want to use only the slider.
However, it does not show the time on my Hermes with WM6 OS (XDA 0.2)
It only shows "0" as time. (not 0:00 but 0)

I'm a noob to the whole ppc/pda phone thing to start off saying. But I just got this site from a friend and have a few quick questions. (I'm new and a noob)

1. I have a treo 650, just got it today. Can I install this iphone stuff on it?

2. Any links to other Treo 650's with these or other Appz on it?

i may almost have it working. im posting some excecutables that worked in the ppl program with no errors. these should work for a 240x240 device

Hey, any updates on this? I tried running the slide.exe programs, and none of them worked on 240x240. Two of them showed black screens then later crashed, and the other one had wrong resolution. Also, launcher.exe was missing from the archive (it was mentioned in the readme). I'd like to try and help, but I'm not at all familiar with this. Thanks.

I have purchased your theme. Installed it and most of it works good. I do have a few issues. when I select the portrait theme in wisbar as outlined in steps 17-20 of your how to i get an exception error. There are also some random errors elsewhere in the wisbar settings.

While these exception errors did not stop me from eventually installing the theme I must say that I was happy with the appearance. All be it a bit on the slow side. but Ill trump that to my hardware.

In your installation instructions you stated...

all requested shareware and freeware programs included with package (you'll need register some softwares etc, wisbar advance & wisbar advance desktop..) you'll need register wisbar advance & wisbar advance desktop (required), pocketsuspendfx and weatherpanel (not required for the theme working)

I was only able to read this after purchasing the theme and was under the impression before purchasing this product that you had sole copyright to this theme and all relevant counterparts. I did not realize until installing (using your guide) that the wisbar and other third party applications were being used. I later found out that not all of these were free versions either. They kept nagging me for registration information.

So I went to google, searched for wisbar and found the Lakeridge software home page. There I found that the "shareware" software was not truly shareware. In fact wisbar advanced costs $9.99 and Advanced Desktop $14.99. In fear of copyright infringement I have removed this software.

If however you have permission to use and SELL this software. Please provide me with registration information and a document from the original authors thereby giving you permission to sell there product.

If either of these requests can not be met I would appreciate a refund.

has anyone tried the winterface app it is the fastest "iphone" look all rolled up in a .cab

i just tried it for the second time and it now is not the power hog it was in the past it comes complete with a slide lock.
I especially liked the ease of setting it up, and now i have found a theme that looks super close to the "iphone" look that some are seeking.
i hope this is helpful to someone it is the first post i have done here, i have taken so much from this site i feel its time to give back

I don't get it... Not to say that the standard flavors of WM UI are the greatest thing since sliced bread, but why the iPhone? Frankly, to me there's nothing abouts its UI that is appealing or even remotely interesting with the exception of the slide between homescreens. The rest is boring and unimaginative.

I'm not looking to start anything here... merely curious... so don't whip out your bazukas just yet :)
