i have tried to reflash another ROM but i can't even start the bootloader (3 colors screen)
ipl 1.03
spl 1.03

i have tried the orginal file from qtec site

fout 326 invalid command.
this nbf file cannot be used for you pda phone please check your nbf file.

I will try again with cid unlocking

Just curious as to why you would try flashing a WM6 rom with a 1.03 bootloader.

EVERYTHING posted on this site and in the wiki tells you to upgrade to an AKU2.x carrier rom before flashing aku3 or WM6.

You will have all kinds of problems if you don't do this.

I dont think we need to go that far, but i do think we need more people who read the forums. This user apparently didnt read that he needs to have at least 2.xx IPL and SPL and judging by the ipl and spl this user is trying on a non wizard phone.

edit: number of posts kinda shows lack of reading too.

I don't think so. 1 post and flashing wm6 into 1.03 bootloader.

I don't think this person read much of anything other than finding a link to download something that they had to have but didn't want to take the time to figure out how to properly install. It's a good thing the Wizard is pretty forgiving on flashing issues.

Wow, you're English is very bad! Let me translate this dutch/english combination to something more readable:

He downloaded the rom from the newsgroups which said the rom was for his device. He never heard of this forum before he got into troubles (AKA didn't do any research before flashing :().

Well Leo.... download the original rom from you're carrier and flash this from the bootloader screen.

What do you mean by everything get's stuck at 95%? Flashing usually hangs for a few minutes around 95%... give it some time. Does it give an error? I don't think you're device has a qtec CID-lock (it told you it wasn't for your device), but a vodafone CID-lock. Did you purchase it from vodafone? You should look for a rom on their site.

yes. He must flash a carrier rom from his carrier into his device to recover it.

Once that is done and his device is again working properly and has bootloader (IPL/SPL) both 2.xx then he can reflash with his WM6 rom and will be fine.

Provided he is CID unlocked of course, which I am 99.9% sure that he is still CID locked, and further steps will be required before he can flash the WM6 rom.

I will not list those steps in this thread as there are multiple stickies that will direct him through the necessary steps.

Step 1 read.
Step 2 read some more.
Step 3 read even more.
Step 4 ask questions about the things you don't understand.
Step 5 PLAN your flash, have a recovery plan before you need it.
Step 6 go over your plan and make sure you didn't skip steps or forget any.
Step 7 read all pertinent threads again just to make sure.
Step 8 flash your device.
Step 9 enjoy.
