Hello all!

I broke the screen on my second MDA (first one was lost), and I have just recieved my replacement from T-Mobile insurance. I want to copy/clone/mirror my old MDA which includes my contacts/apps/mms/settings/etc. to my new MDA.

Unfortunately there is no way I can install a backup program i.e. SPB backup and configure it with a broken screen. Is there a lowerlevel way of mirroring not just the firmware but also all of the user partition as well without having to use the screen?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Try to install Pocket Controller (professionel) You get your screen on your pc. Then install spb backup and make a backup....

Try reading the wiki on how to do a rom/partition backup with mtty and the bootloader. It's risky writing that info back to another device (in case there are any hardware changes between the devices etc), but better then nothing.

Pocket Controller!! Wow, exactly the solution I was looking for. I am so glad that this proggy exists. Mtty, should work as well, they are both G4's.

You guys are great. Thanks!
