Ive decided to release my newest rom. But be patient, the link for download will be here on midle of the next week (or after i'll order new device).
There is some information about this rom.

Ive been working on it for 2 month. All was done by myself. Have a look.

(aRTM=almost Release To Manufacture)

1) OS version: 5.2.968 (build 17217.0.0.0)
I transfered wm6 kernel from tytn's rom
2) ROM version: 10.2.0.8_WWE
3)

Storage:
Total: 47.46 Mb
Free: 42.99 Mb
RAM
Total: 51.99 Mb
Free: 30 Mb
(if you delete voicecomader from sturt up you will have more than 31 Mb of memory free. PP is 4 mb)

4) Еxtended rom was moved in windows folder and contains only register fixes. I turned off the installation from real Extrom.
5) It is a vanilla rom. It includes only native soft. There is full customization from HTC:

a) MMS - 3_5_1_17
b) Midlet Manager - 11.1.7.1029
c) WM player codecs - 6.28.061020.X0
d) CYBERON VC&VD - 1_1_B60920 (with voice tag backup function)
e) TaskManager - 1_0_27406_1 - works great for real closing applications, even Commmanager
f) StreamingMedia - 2.10.1025621
g) commManager 8 buttons
h) etc.

6) WPA2&WPA2-PSK
7) New nice skin for default keyboard
8) New icons for backlite, power etc
9) A2DP settings for best qualifity of sound
10) etc.

New OS build contains not whole files from tytn's rom, but more of them.
As i said before: camera is oem application and couldn't work on wizard. And i rebuild some modules from tytn's rom by myself to force it to work.
Im going to finish my tests of that rom, but i can say now that it has very good perfomance. It works like a charm.
Btw, it is unique rom. All roms that contains os 5.2.968 and the same build or rom version, will have my rom as base rom. So I am the first man who made that work:)

Ok guys, for those of you that were looking for a G3 version with all the reg patches that are related only to this release, here you go. I tested it and have been running for 24 hours. All is good. Let me know if you guys have problems. This file incorporates all the reg keys that faria's cab puts in minus the ones for applications that arent installed. Also i removed key that caused ringtone issues. I removed the 2 startup applications that do not exist in the windows directory and Also included the single line date. Also removed links to Voice Command and Voice Speed Dial from the Programs Menu (I saw them as pointless). This ROM runs quite fast, just a warning. All the ROM building was done by mUn.

BUGREPORT:
1) Don't know how but all ringtones were named like that Ring-Standard .wma
They has a space befor extencion..that's why they coudn't be seen in Ringtone selection(
Just Copy new ringtone or rename these, if you like it
2) If you see that Commmanager doesn't show icons correctly, just reinstall RegFix.cab in windows folder
3) Volume of incoming call is quite...working for solution

Really does look quite promising! I prefer vanilla rom's over most others since I usually do not need most of the other included apps like ptab/scenarios/mchat/... since I want to use my own.

I would test this even with bugs ..... I have the issue with the most beautiful I can't download nothing or view txt docs or save anything. it says : this device is restricted from downloading this file type...


please if anyone knows a fix then post it here. theres a fix but I can't view the txt doc. I posted on there also. and maybe if we update to this new rom it might accour. its something todo with the polocies... I thought that underground edition worked well with me.... oh and don't forget to include internet calling.... please add a good wifi app or include some top apps. like spb plus and battery status and resco explorer I can d/l the keyboard on resco update :). also add a game or 2 spb brain evolution is cool.... I have s/n for all these. oh and if anyone can think or any cool stuff to add please do... only stuff that makes a difference. is there any cool features going to be added like more options for voice command. or sound effects for all different stuff like startup sounds or when dialing numbers it says the number you pressed... I could go on and on.... oh and goodluck to the rom... pm me if u like anyone.

I've been running WM6 Underground for little under a month now and since the day before yesterday strange things started happening... Wi-Fi seems to stop working every now and then, messages dont open when clicking on the in my inbox (have to press the message button again and then all of a sudden the contents of the message is displayed), my memmory is going AWOL... etc..

Was thinking of changing to WM6 MB today but my eye caught this thread... Please man Upload as soon as humanly possible... Dont want to MB just to change again in 3-4 days...

I agree - only I would assess it as more than a bit slow - it is quite slow, IMHO. Going back to Molski's Final 2.26.

Underground and MB are truly so slow..

Clean orwell is faster but many bugs

You can't do a fair comparison unless you have the same configurations and software on both devices.
In most cases, more RAM will make the device faster but there are lots of other things to consider which will be off topic of this thread.

I was trying to understand what those numbers on SKtools benchmark meant. It occurrs to me that I am Overclocked at about 273mhz, I think. That probably made a difference. I am loaded up with SPB Pocket plus, etc, so my memory available is less than the screenshots. I'd post a screenshot if I knew how to take one.

There is m$ VC. But you can delete it from start up and use Cyberon VC) There is the newest vesion in my rom. You can add voice tags even for application, and backup it for restore.

You don't miss anything) in bugfixed version you just don't need to run cabs manually after soft reset)

this one is 52.1 mb , its the first release NOT bugfixed . the bugfixed is 53.6 mb .

I think you should open up another thread for just problems with the rom itself, I see that being done on the XDA Live for the Hermes, it saves people having to read alot of pages for answers to issues, which they usually dont read before they post the question anyways.

Yes. mUn mentioned he forgot a couple of files in the first release (which you fix by running a couple of CABs on the ROM). The Fixed version you don't need to do that. Thats the only diff.

Don't attempt to install ANY custom ROM if you don't understand what you are doing. You need to READ and READ and READ. The top of the Wizard Upgrading forum is full of the info you need to read, digest, and fully understand before you just double click on an executable... You are lucky you didn't brick your phone by just running without understanding how this works.

Tried using this new skin that is floating around the forums. For some reason it does not work with this ROM. The smart dial aspect does not show where it is supposed to.

Has anyone noticed that with all the new roms, ALL incoming picture messages are now downscaled to very small and less than 15kb?

Please try it yourself and get back to me. Have someone or yourself send a pic message to your phone. Note the file size before it is sent to you, then the file size when you receive it. Also make sure that the photo resolution on your settings say either "640x480" or "original" to be sure.

In my case, the original picture files are around 80-90 kb. When I get them back, they become 5-15 kb. Its annoying. Any responses would help :)

I've flashed the "fixed" version, but afterwards the comm-manager only had 7 buttons shown. I saw this fix was in one of the cabs mentioned earlier. I had to run them manually, everything was fine afterwards. The extended_rom installation only set the aero.tsk as standard.

2 minor bugs found, I guess

* Word suggestion is enabled, even if you disabled it @ Input Settings (WSUGGFIX.CAB can solve this...)

* Phone Pad Input is available, but cannot be selected. (Phone Pad - International.cab can solve this...)

@everyone, try and take some initiative and sort out these intial bugs yourselves instead of asking mun straightaway, give the guy a break. Im not targeting anybody personally but this thread seems to have one "thankyou mun" post to every three posts that are borderline complaining about something. The wifi not appearing has a solution somewhere, not sure about changing comm manager screen.

The solution is to use a registry editor to get to the following location.

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Keybd]

And delete the following item.

"Locale"="0419"

After a reboot that comma will be working good as new.

1, what's the use of the 2 .ZIP files under \Windows?
2, in the first post it says "That is a fixed version) Customisation works after hard reset", that means we have no need to manually install the 2 .cab files under \Windows, is that right?
3, why in the RegFix.cab contains keys links to extended_rom? but there's no extended_rom in the downloaded RUU package.

HKCU >> ControlPanel >> Keybd >> Locale=0419 and the bultin keyboard write Russian letter.

Actually I'm having a problem with this ROM... the battery is flying down... I charged the mobile yesterday during the afternoon, and today morning I'm down to 19% :-\

Before you ask, I didn't use Wifi, bluetooth or IR and only made a call for about 10minutes. No, the battery is working fine, since it used to handle about a week without recharge!
