i think it's available in Germany already, one of the member here has got his, but he say the stock is limited, they will re-stock it next week or so. One problem with those Ameo is they are not unlock yet, and no one seems to get it at the moment, although some people say they have request the code from Tmobile, but no further news on that.

So if you bought the Ameo there, it might be lock at the moment.

I think the Ameo is the cheapest, specially if you sign up 2 years contract with them. At the moment it's lock so you can't use it anywhere else, but i am sure eventually it will be unlock. The official unlock code will cost 99 euro if you request it from T-mobile !!!!!! wow, that a lot

Nice is that 479,95 € ? 480 Euros = 630.67200 U.S. dollars I am buying it right away then. Wait is that contract? Whats the phone only cost? or can i not buy it without contract? how about i buy it with contract for 1 year or something. I am sure i can use in with cingular or rogers regardless of being in europe please!!! I think advantage is going to be way too expensive $1200USD. I will mod my ameo with the advantage body pack later on next year. Damn i cant read the german also the english website dont have it.

it's with contract only, at the moment they don't sell without contract so we don't know the price. And also, it's lock to t-mobile germany....

t-mobile is expandable as far as i know on a traveler package. the rom should be in english and not in deutch. i need one immediately. i am going to make arrangements if it is available in paris.

i am 90% sure that is not true, there is no english rom for it, and we have not seen any unit running english rom as well. It will be simlock to t-mobile and it will not be in english.

Thats fine. It will change networks once its moved around abroad. I think UK is going to be Orange/O2. USA is going to be CINGULAR and canada is going to be Rogers. Thats all i know. Thats how its been, when i had Cingular i could go around the world on a roaming plan. Pretty cheap and affordable.

yup i agree. i am not going for the ameo and they wont give it to me either. i have changed my mind and going for the advantage x7500.
