Hi!
I read the threads about how to cook your own ROM (http://en.pdamobiz.com/en/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=395) and I'm able to mount the ROM as a drive in Windows.
The instructions talk about adding cab files, but my guess is there's a limit.
How does one know how many space there is free for adding applications? CAB files tend to be compressed, so the cab file's size doesn't seem to be a reliable indicator...
Any help will be very much appreciated!
Kindest regards,
Piet

23,9 Mb of CAB files you mean? Since the CAB files are extracted during boot, how do you know that the extracted files all fit into memory?
Thanks!

I backupped my O2 rom to a SD card, mounted it as a virtual drive and after looked at the detailed view I saw 23,9 MB total, 10,2 MB reserved, etc.!

But you can read it all in the tutorial on PDAMobiz!
