Is it possible to use Dial-up networking (DUN) on Crossbow or does it support Personal Area Network (PAN) only?
I own Jornada 720 with crap 3com PCMCIA BT card that can do only DUN. I can send files using obex but DUN doesn't work. I can't use Wizard edge modem over Irda too.

i haven't gotten it to work yet. the serial modem service no longer shows up in the phone's discoverable bluetooth services after upgrading to faria clean.

As far as i can tell, it's PAN only. FWIW, I was able to get my MacBook on T-Mobile's Edge network far me easily than I ever could with DUN, thanks to the Internet Sharing app.

I couldn't get my Mac to do anything with it except use it as a "Handsfree Device"... Do tell how you did it..
Thanks...

What you set up your Wizard using OS X Bluetooth Setup Assistant, don't set it up as a Mobile Phone- use 'Any Device' instead.
