I tried the MB edition on my Wizard and it's awesome.

The only little prob I encountered so far is linked to Wifi WPA2 / AES not available in the Wifi options.

Then read that by replacing tnetwln.dll with the one in the AKU 3.3 it would have worked. Even found a thread giving away the extracted dll. Thanks.

As I wanted to make it clean, thought about "cooking" with the tnetwln.dll replaced with the good one and discovered that in the extracted files there are two tnetwln.dll version in the MB edition.

Let me clarify. If you extract the MB you'll find two version of tnetwln.dll.
One in the root of the extracted modules and files and the other in OEM/OEMDrivers.

The one in the root is the same as the AKU 3.3
The one in OEM/OEMDrivers is different.

Any clue?

Thanks,
Ka.

Hello Kast,

I'm the one that posted the tnetwln.dll...

If you are about cooking a rom with the AKU 3.3 tnetwln.dll, you need first to remove the tnetwln.dll from the original WM6 ROM.

Here is the trick:
- in the rom, tnetwln.dll is actually a module, not a file. So you have to remove a directory from the exploded ROM,
- afterwards, just copy the tnetwln.dll from AKU 3.3 as a file in your ROM directory and rebuild the ROM.

While not perfect (I don't know how to turn a file into a module, so I could replace the tnetwln.dll original module by the one of AKU 3.3), the previous procedure is working fine.

Let me know if you need more help.

eluth.

Thanks a lot for your reply.

This is probably what the person behing MB was trying to accomplish, although he left the module directory and therefore, my assumption, it's the one picked up at runtime.

Although, as you suggested, the AKU 3.3 version is there as well, in the Rom root.

Anyway, what I'll do is simply to remove the module directory corresponding to the DLL so that the one in the root is used.

Thanks a again,
Ka.
