Hi,
Since AKU3 and WM6 ROMs the Pocket Internet Explorer have a bug. It doesn't send the User Agent String anymore. This bug causes no access to provider-multimedia-content anymore.
On AKU2.3 ROMs the PIE does work, but I have no AKU2.3 ROM.
Can somebody please help and zip or rar the 4 hidden files in Windows Directory on AKU2.3 ROM starting with "ie"..

IECEExt.dll.0409.mui
IECEExt.dll
iexplore.exe
iexplore.lnk

The files are in ROM-Memory, so you have to unhide and select the files and say Duplicate by tap&hold in Resco Explorer.
Then you get 4 files in Windows-Dir starting with "Copy of IE..."
These files can be copied outside of Windows to a zip and posted here if anybody want to help us Hermes-AKU3.3/WM6 Owners. Tis package can be then implemented in future ROM-Updates.

Hi,

Just checked and mine shows this:
Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 6.9)

Tis package can be then implemented in future ROM-Updates.
You would loose the AJAX capabilities of the new IE.

It always sends Mozilla/4.0 even if changing the User Agent string in Registry from Mozilla/4.0 to something else.

This is why we are using NetFront for Cingular Video right now too. If you find the fix to send a better a different UA in PIE WM6 then PLEASE share. I tried PIEPlus and it did not work, but maybe a new version is coming that was designed for WM6, wait and see.
