I broke my ppc6700 usb port so now I can sync or flash the rom back to the original rom. Does anybody know how to flash the rom using the miniSD card. It is possible with other HTC devices but is there a specific instruction for the Apache?
Thanks in advance.

I have the same problem a friend gave me a phone but the usb was busted off and ive tryed to fix it back on the 4 ground plates and the 5 pins are all connected but it still doesent work. So I'm wondering if i can get this phone to boot off the mini sd card i can get it into boot mode where is says serial and v2.02 but nothing past that. I have formated my 512mb mini sd card fat32 and put the file "nk.nbf" on the root of it, still no luck.

Following five steps are what I did to flash my HTC Apache ROM:
Insert the MiniSD card which has the HTC Apache ROM in it.
Hardware-reset HTC Apache
Press the power button again
Remove the MiniSD card
Software-reset THC Apache
Done
The ROM in my MiniSD card is a backup of the HTC Apache ROM identified as 02/07/20 on 02/24/06. I archived it using the mtty d2s command.
